The Westin – Westminster, CO.
Each day will consist of focused training
Continental breakfast and lunch
included each day

Day 1 - Courtney Pullen, MA, LPC
Closing the Gap
  8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

"Closing the Gap: Getting from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be”

Courtney leads us off to a stimulating start by sharing his “Closing the Gap” program. Courtney masterfully helps us prepare ourselves to be more effective and impactful with the ideas and resources provided throughout the rest of the Masters Level Intensive program. As professionals, we can all be given the very best materials, programs and information available, but if we, ourselves, are not in a place to really be able to connect with clients in an impactful way, our results are limited. Dedicated to helping you create limitless results, Courtney offers a dynamic beginning to our Intensive!

Day 2 - Terry Hunt EdD
Understanding Family Dynamics
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:00 - 9:00 PM
(break in afternoon for rest, recreation)

“Family Systems, Family Dynamics and Rights, Roles and Responsibilities of Heirs”

Terry Hunt, third generation heir to the Alcoa aluminum fortune family and family succession specialist, is your guide for Day Two. In addition to sharing from his Harvard education and personal/professional experiences on family dynamics and family systems, Terry also teaches how this intergenerational connection creates a new source of revenue for your practice. Terry will help raise your knowledge and comfort level of families and family systems by expanding your ability to reach up or down to the next generation. Terry’s presentation adds a new meaning to your life, your practice and the lives of your clients and client families.

Day 3 - John A. Warnick, Esq.
Creating a Purposeful Trust
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:00 - 9:00 PM
(break in afternoon for rest, recreation)

“Beyond Ethical Wills, Life Stories and Legacy Letters – How Purposeful Planning Transforms Families, Philanthropy and Multi-Generational Wealth Transfer Planning”

Occasionally we run into an individual whose path has immersed them in technical planning but whose generous heart and spirit has led them to new vision of professional service and collaboration. John A. Warnick, a senior partner in the law firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen LLP is that man! Through powerful stories and client wisdom, John A will teach us how to transcend technical planning and demonstrate case design at the deepest level today. How do you move from sterile boiler-plate to documents which include the grantor’s voice? Why should purpose and intent clauses be the heart of each will and trust? How do you integrate family mission and vision statements into wealth transfer planning and family business succession documents? What are “seeds of gratitude” and how can we assist our clients in planting those seeds in the legacy planning process? Why is it so critical there not be a “legal chasm” between the trust documents and our clients vision, values and voice? How do you connect the generations so that families flourish rather than fracture? What is a “generative trustee” and how can we help our clients understand the importance of training better captains rather than just relying on a better boat. John A. will answer each of these questions on Day Three.

Day 4 - Barbara A. Culver, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, AEP
Connecting with Passion and Power
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
